I have worked as a tutor previously with the child of one of my mother's friends, and I am currently employed as a tutor at America Reads/America Counts. I have not taken the SAT, but my ACT score was 24. I would like to be a tutor because I enjoy helping others; I have been very well taught in chemistry and teaching it to others is something I feel confident in. I have taken Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry 1 with the lab course, General Chemistry 2 with the lab course, and I am currently taking Organic Chemistry 1. In my previous Chemistry courses, I have not gotten lower than a B. I have been a part of a service organization since high school, so I feel as though I work well with others and can get along well with helping people.
