Experience
I was born in Shanghai, and came to U.S for college. So, I am an native Mandarin speaker, and I can also teach you Shanghainess. I tutored a lot of high school students with SAT and TOEFL. I shared my experience of college applications and provided advice for them. They all got very high scores and offers they wanted in the end. Their parents really appreciated what I did and introduced me new teaching opportunities. The reason I want to be a tutor is that I enjoy the process of explaining my understanding and my knowledge to people and make sure they get it. My TOEFL scores: Reading 30, Listening 27, Writing 29, Speaking 24. My SAT scores: Math 800, CR: 690, Writing 730. I get A or A+ on all my college courses. I took political science courses related to law, international relations and conflict. I took psychology courses like intro to psych, intro to brain science, personality psych, etc. I have worked as a research assistant in a psych lab for more than one year, and I am working on my research articles.
