I believe that being a tutor is not about giving out all the answers and telling a person what to do. Instead it is about giving them the tools to learn independently, helping review difficult topics, setting the conceptual framework for the basics of a field, and instilling a love for the subject. The important thing is that a tutor is helping a person to develop the capacity and drive to be an independent achiever.
HobbiesI moved to Champaign after graduating from college because I am looking to get into the Neuroscience Program here.
Currently I spend most of my time working, doing home restoration, or volunteering at the herbarium on campus, but in my free time I like to relax by cooking, playing board games, learning trombone, and running with my dog.
